The owners and staff of Wright Funeral Home are keeping apprised of the current situation and in response to the Coronavirus Disease, we will, until further notice, conform to the suggestions of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the guidelines of health and government officials.
Our primary concern is the safety of the families we serve, the public that visits our funeral home, and our staff – as well as the emotional needs of the families we serve.
Please understand the following decision was not easy for us to make, we exist to care for families as they grieve and celebrate life; however, for the safety of everyone involved effective March 17, 2020, we will not be able to offer public visitations or services until the CDC restrictions are updated. We understand this may not be the ideal tribute your loved one deserves, but we must adhere to this for the health and welfare of the public, the community, and our staff.
Please know that we are still able to care for your loved one as usual and during arrangements, we will meet our families in any way they are comfortable with including in person, by telephone or email.
Community members we encourage you to show your support to our families who are grieving by reaching out to them via our website, phone calls, text messages, social media or by sending a card or note.
As a public entity we want to inform you that we are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure that we reduce your risk to exposure while visiting our facility. Our funeral home is cleaned and sanitized daily, we have ample supplies of hand sanitizer and hand soap, Kleenex, and well-maintained ventilation systems. Our staff is ever present to facilitate the safety and comfort of the families we serve and the public visiting our funeral homes.
