Catherine Louise Hall

Catherine Hall, age 86, of Laclede, died Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Life Care Center in Brookfield.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at United Methodist Church in Laclede with Rev. Howard Glasgow and Pastor Joe Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Laclede Cemetery in Laclede.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart Association may be left at the church or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628.

Catherine Louise, daughter of Monroe and Rosetta (Bruce) Smith, Sr. was born February 24, 1933, in Keytesville.  On June 28, 1952, she married Robert Hall who preceded her in death on November 6, 1991.

Catherine was a wonderful cook and spent many years as a caterer.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Keytesville.

Survivors include three daughters, Roberta White and husband, Curtis of Brookfield, Doris Boyd and husband, Donzwell of Kansas City, and Delores Hall of Laclede; two grandchildren, Kathy White of Laclede and Robert Hall of Denver, Colorado; one nephew, Howard Smith and wife, Becky of Macon; three brothers, Virgil Smith and wife, Marian of Corpus Christi, Texas, Monroe Smith, Jr. of Moberly and William Smith and wife, Terri of Moberly; one sister, Virginia Morton of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Alvin Richardson of Tucson, Arizona; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Her parents; one daughter, Carolyn Hall; one brother, Howard Smith; and four sisters, Mary Evelyn Smith, Dorothy Jones, Anna Turner and Carlene Richardson also preceded her in death.
