Charles “Chuck” Clark, age 84, of Brookfield, died Friday, October 25, 2019 at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center in Marceline.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Mandy Wiedeman officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Charles Victor, son of Paul and Mary (Smith) Clark, was born June 15, 1935 in Brookfield. On October 15, 1955, he married Alva Knowlton.
Chuck was a United States Marine Veteran. He served in Vietnam and was a Captain in the Marine Corps for 20 years . He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 4557, a charter member of the Eagles Club, the Masonic Lodge, and the Elks Lodge all of Brookfield and the Shriners.
Survivors include five children, Deborah Clark and companion, Forrest May of the state of Arizona, George Clark and wife, Lori of the state of Utah, William Clark and wife, Carol of the state of Washington, Barbara Gomez of the state of Arizona, and Monica Britton and husband, Zach of Brookfield; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Owens; Bonnie Dorrell, his companion for 28 years; and his former wife, Alva Knowlton who died April 27, 2012.
