Doris L. Clarkson, age 90, of Laclede, died Monday, August 13, 2018, at McLarney Manor in Brookfield.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 17, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Laclede with Pastor Joe Cuminale officiating. Burial will be in Laclede Cemetery in Laclede. Visitation will be Thursday starting at 1:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening.

Doris Lorna, the daughter of Fred and Hazel (Peet) Clinefelter, was born September 19, 1927 in Laclede. On October 27, 1946, she married Robert Clarkson who preceded her in death on February 27, 2010.
Doris was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Mosley & Company for several years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Laclede and the Laclede Civic Club. She was a former member of the Laclede Chapter PTO and the YMCA. Doris was an active participant at the Senior Center in Brookfield.
Survivors include one daughter, Diane Lambert and husband, Steve of Brookfield; four sons, Robert Clarkson and wife, Sharon of Elwood, Indiana, Dave Clarkson and wife, Sandra of Laclede, Randy Clarkson of Jefferson City and Rock Clarkson and Erin Maloney of Jefferson City; thirteen grandchildren, Brad Clarkson and wife, Leslie, Jill Tallman and husband, Jim, Rebecca Smith and husband, Sean, Rob Clarkson and wife, Meagan, Elizabeth Manion and husband, Smith, Craig Clarkson and wife, Annie, Jeffrey Clarkson and wife, Hannah, Joe Clarkson and wife, Monica, Emily Clarkson, Matt Lambert and wife, Kate, Luke Lambert and wife, Brooke, Dolores Ponder, and Richard Moretti; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Edna Mae Farmer and husband, Duane and Colleen Clinefelter.
Her parents; one grandson, Alex Clarkson; one daughter-in-law, Rita Clarkson; one brother, Don Clinefelter; and two sisters, Alice Dowell and Lois Robbins also preceded her in death.
