John Libby, age 64, of Brookfield, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Rodney Libby officiating. Burial will be in Laclede Cemetery in Laclede. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening at the funeral home.

John Francis, son of James and Mildred (Walsh) Libby, was born June 18, 1954, in Marceline.
John was a member of the former Bible Chapel in Brookfield. He was baptized at a young age and had a personal relationship with Christ. Through the years John supported various ministries that were dear to his heart.
John was a machinist. He spent many years working for Rupp Automotive until he opened Libby Machine in 1993. John and Libby Machine have served our community and surrounding areas for over 25 years. John also had a passion for rebuilding classic cars.
Survivors include one sister, Katherine Libby of Laclede; four brothers, Jim Libby of Linneus, Rodney Libby and wife, Jayne of Wichita, Kansas, Ernie Libby and wife, Kathy of Brookfield, and Duane Libby and wife, Cynthia of Springfield; five nieces, three nephews, and other relatives.
His parents preceded him in death.
