Louise Holloway Obituary

Louise Holloway, age 95, of St. Catharine, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Pershing Hospital in Brookfield.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Brookfield with Pastor Tom Sullenger officiating. Burial will be in Laclede Cemetery in Laclede. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Trinity United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield. Memorials to the Trinity United Methodist Church or Linn County Nutrition Site may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628

Louise, the daughter of Bert and Ora (Tallcott) Smith, was born January 15, 1924 in Rothville.  On October 26, 1946, she married Eldon Holloway who preceded her in death on November 30, 2012.

Louise was a homemaker.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Brookfield and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Laclede.

Survivors include a daughter, Connie King and husband, Rob of St. Catharine; a son-in-law, Sam Little of Lenexa, Kansas; five grandchildren, Cody King and wife, Alyshia of St. Catharine, Kacie King and fiance’, LJ Grimm of Brookfield, Chris King and wife, Tateum of Hannibal, Jim Little of Louisburg, Kansas, and David Little and wife, Katherine of Lenexa, Kansas; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Janell Holloway of Laclede and Pat Holloway of Chillicothe; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Her parents; one daughter, Eldona Little; one brother, Ernest “Bud” Smith and wife, Addie Lee; one sister, Lela Riddle and husband, Charlie; four brothers-in-law, Delbert Holloway and wife, Laura, Kenneth Holloway and wife, Marilyn, Glenn Holloway, and Franklin Holloway; and two sisters-in-law, Louise Clough and husband, Glen, and Iva Jean Holloway also
