Lyle Orr

Lyle Orr, age 84, of Brookfield, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at his home surrounded by family and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 27, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Richard Evans officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Hamilton.  Visitation will be Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 2:00 until 4:00 in the afternoon at the funeral home.

Lyle Gordon, son of Lloyd and Lola (Clark) Orr, was born August 27, 1933 in Kidder. He was married to Fern Wilson and together they had 8 children, Rick, Jim, Randy, Brenda, Ronnie, Eddie, Sandy, and Roger Dale.  On December 31, 1982, he married Patricia Allen and they have two children, Kendal and Kyle.

He was a lifelong carpenter and a business owner.  He was a former member of the Elks Lodge and the Marceline Golf Club and Hamilton Golf Club.

Survivors include his wife, Patty of the home; their children, Rick Orr and wife, Jan of Linneus, Jim Orr and wife, Kathy of Brookfield, Randy Orr and wife, Linda of Kansas City, Brenda Goll and husband, Dan of Winston, Ronnie Orr and wife, Cindy of Hamilton, Eddie Orr and wife, Michelle of Kidder, Sandy Gann and husband, Tim of Brookfield, Kyle Orr and wife, Kelsey of Springfield, Kendal Orr and wife, Whitney of Brookfield, and Tammy Beal and husband, Will of Brookfield; 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Roberts and husband, Lee of Pleasant Valley, and Carol Stichler of Laurie; constant companion, Charlie of the home; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

His parents; one infant son, Roger Dale Orr; one brother-in-law, Larry Stichler; and two daughters-in-law, Brenda Orr and Brenna Orr preceded him in death.
