Rickie Jenkins

Rickie Jenkins, age 67, of Brookfield, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at University Hospital in Columbia.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.

Rickie Lee, son of Wilbur and Jesse (Frock) Jenkins, was born February 24, 1951, in DeWitt.  On February 16, 1974, he married Joyce Hunt.

Rickie was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during Vietnam.  He also served in the National Guard.

He spent many years finishing floors at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Park and husband, Todd of Carrollton and Kinsey Packham and husband, Tony of Brookfield; three granddaughters, Jordan, Abigale and Autumn; his mother, Jesse Jenkins of Brookfield; two brothers, Larry Jenkins of Brookfield and Vern Jenkins of Trenton; two sisters, Leigh Madden of the Kansas City area and Linda Al-Hilphy of Brookfield; and several other family members.

His father; and two brothers, Gary Jenkins and Terry Jenkins preceded him in death.
