Thelma Correll

Thelma Correll, age 63, of Kansas City, formerly of Brookfield, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Frank Bolin officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield.  The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening at the funeral home.

Thelma Agnes, daughter of Charles and Ruby (Dean) Blackwell, was born November 19, 1955, in Brookfield.  On August 16, 1986, she married Robert Warner Correll who preceded her in death on July 7, 2016.

Thelma was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.

Survivors include three children, Michael Blackwell and wife, Crystal of Marceline, Shannon Burge and husband, Patrick of Lancaster, Kansas, and Samuel Correll and Spencer Claiborne of Kansas City; seven grandchildren, Brittany Blackwell, Alexander Blackwell, Haileigh Blackwell, Anthony Harris, Mikey Burge, Talen Burge, and Shelby Burge; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Johnnie Lampe and wife, Donna of Clarence; one sister, Linda Finch and husband, Paul of Brookfield; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Her parents and one sister, Lois Jacobs also preceded her in death.
