Ada Maxine (Stone) Ball, age 96, of Brookfield, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at McLarney Manor in Brookfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Ronald E. Ball officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, May 19, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, Brookfield, Missouri.

Ada Maxine, daughter of H.D. “Crow” and Mabel (Exline) Stone, was born December 20, 1926, in Brookfield, Missouri. On February 10, 1947, she married Melvin Gene Ball, who preceded her in death on November 29, 2017.
Maxine was a 1944 graduate of Brookfield High School. She worked at Brown Shoe Company and Brookfield RIII cafeteria. Maxine was a dedicated wife, mother, and loved the Lord Jesus. Maxine was a charter member of the Freedom Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Ronald Eugene and wife, Eileen of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Gary Lee and wife, Cheryl of Brookfield, and Rhonda Kay Peters and husband, Buddy of Fort Smith, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, Matthew Ball, John (Jen) Ball, Joanna (Gus) Harbaugh, Julie (Tim) Wesselman, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mark (Ashlyne) Ball of Brookshire, Texas, Brandi (Robert Johnson) Ball of St. Louis, Missouri, Jacob Ball of Bonner Springs, Kansas; Ethan Walgren of Marceline, Blane Walgren of New Cambria, John Walgren of Brookfield and Kyle Peters of Raytown, Missouri; fifteen great grandchildren, Jonah, Jade, Jessi, Jaxson, Rivers, Stryder, and Arias Ball, Troy Trinity, and Trystan Harbaugh, Lucas, Levi and Mason Wesselman all of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Emmett Ball of Brookshire, Texas and Liam Ball-Kuehnle of Saint Louis, Missouri; one brother, Darrell (Beverly) Stone, of Chillicothe; one brother in law, Walt Olinger; several other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Wanda Olinger; two brothers, Harold and Yvonne Stone, and three sisters-in-law, Joan, Blanch, and Pat Stone.
