Catherine Smart Obituary

Catherine Smart, age 77, of Brookfield, died Friday, January 22, 2021, at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.

Catherine (Westermeyer) Smart, daughter of Lewis and Blanche (Doll) Westermeyer was born February 23, 1943, in Wheaton, MN. Cathy attended school in Wheaton, MN and Two Harbors, MN. In 1960, Cathy married Jerry Smart in Two Harbors, MN. They made their home in California and Alaska. After her husband’s death, Cathy moved to Missouri.

Cathy is survived by her children; Cathy Martin (Gregg), AZ, John Smart, AK, Jerri Webb (Jesse), MO, Pat Smart, TX and Carol Smart, MO; several grandchildren; brothers, Robert Westermeyer (Linda), Allan Westermeyer (Sue), and Tony Westermeyer (Sue); sisters, Cheryl Boogaard (Keven) and Deb Underwood (Dennis).

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
