Charles Ragan, age 61, of Laclede, passed away, Monday, November 23, 2020, at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
A graveside service at Pleasant Ridge Church Cemetery, west of Princeton, will be held at a later date.
Charles Edward, son of Pearl and Elsie (Hughes), was born August 25, 1959, in Mercer. On October 6, 1989, he married Janet Mitchell Curtis.
Charles previously worked for Brookfield Plastic and Dura Automotive Systems in Brookfield. He currently worked in maintenance at Stanbury Uniform in Brookfield. Charles was a very skilled carpenter and worked many years as a general maintenance worker in the area.
Charles was an all-around good man and was always willing to help someone out. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Janet of the home; two step-children, Elsie Curtis of Kansas City and Joe Curtis of Cameron; four grandchildren, Angela Curtis, Brandon Dixon, Sidney Lawson and Kohley Lawson; eleven great grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy Replogle, Mary Graham, Sarah Ragan Sanders and Jackie Brown; one brother, Joseph Ireland; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
His parents: and one sister, Jeannie Ferguson preceded him in death.
