Darrell Yochim, age 87, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away, Sunday, February 6, 2022, at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.

There will be a private family burial at New Boston Cemetery in New Boston, Missouri.

Darrell Lee, son of Orval Lee and Silva Marie (Bishop) Yochim, was born December 18, 1934, in Kirksville.

Darrell was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1957 to 1959. He was also a member of the Grinter House Historical Foundation.

Survivors include his children, David Yochim and wife, Loraine, Lori Yochim, and Dawnie Phillips and husband, Jeff; his grandchildren, Jennifer Fletcher and husband, Terry, Molly Sharma and husband, Adi, Thalia Phillips, Analisa Phillips, Kayla Miller, and Colton McDaniel and wife, Laura; eight great grandchildren; the mother of his children, Thelma Harl; and a brother, Jerry Yochim.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Terry McDaniel.
