Deanna Louise Walters

Deanna L. Walters, age 69, of Brookfield passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at her home.

Graveside service will be Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rose Hill cemetery in Brookfield with Pastor Norman Forman officiating. Services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home, Brookfield.

Deanna Louise, daughter of Clarence Jr. and Betty Louise (Hills) Walters was born February 14, 1954, in Brookfield, Missouri.

Deanna attended Park Baptist Church. She worked for Walsworth Publishing for a short while and then later retired from the railroad. Deanna enjoyed studying astronomy, playing the piano, and listening to music. She especially loved cats.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Walters; one brother, Kenny Walters and wife, Mona; one sister-in-law, Barbara Walters; one uncle, William Hills; two nephews, Adam Walters and wife, Mandy and Andrew Walters and wife, Kylie; one niece, Iva Burgerner and husband, Brandon; great nieces and nephews, MaKayla, Samantha, Addison, Zoey, Casen , Raelin, Henlie, Kaisen, Austyn, Aspen, and Andi Mae; cousins, Hoskins, Kelly, and Hills families.

Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Walters, Jr; one brother, Michael Walters, grandparents, William Hills, Ethel Hills and Clarence S. and Iva Walters; aunts and uncles Bill and Beverly Hoskins, Don and Joann Kelly, Jim and Denise Hills and son, Joel Hills; and two aunts, Sherril and Crys Hills.
