Denise Moore

Denise Renee Moore, age 59, of Browning, unexpectedly passed away December 24, 2021,  at Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Milan with Pastor David Lukefahr officiating.  Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.  Burial will be in Locust Valley Cemetery in Browning.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Denise was born August 17, 1962, to Roy and Navonne (Schmidt) Moore.

Denise was a 1980 graduate of Linn Co. R-1.  She later attended Kansas City College of Medical and Dental school, graduating at the top of her class.

After many years of service, Denise retired from Walsworth Publishing Company in 2020.

No one who met Denise can forget her infectious smile and her heartfelt laugh. She was an amazing friend, daughter, sister and Mother. 

Survivors include her daughter, Felicia Moore of Wathena, Kansas; her mother, Vonnie Moore of Browning; two sisters, Brenda Head and husband, Rodny of Browning and their children, James Head and Ashley of Green City, and Joseph Head and wife, Stacy of Brookfield, and Teresa Scrivens and husband, David of Turney and their children, Luke Scrivens and wife, Mackenzie of Savannah, and J.D. Scrivens and Tara of Smithville; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Moore.
