Derrick Leaton Obituary

Derrick Leaton, age 59, of Brookfield, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.

Burial will be at a later date. Services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Derrick Nelson, son of Nelson W. and Sandra Lee (Hemphill), was born March 25, 1962, in Nebraska City, Nebraska.

Survivors include his father, Nelson Leaton of Brookfield; two brothers, Scott Leaton of Brookfield and Kyle Leaton and wife, Mary Ann of La Plate, Nebraska; one daughter, Liddia Leaton of Springfield; one nephew, Brandon Leaton of Palmyra, Pennsylvania; and one niece, Jessica Innocent of Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Leaton.
