Eleanor Ackermann Valbracht, age 90, of Brookfield, Missouri passed away July 4, 2020 at Boone Hospital, Columbia, Missouri from complications of heart failure.
She was born January 24, 1930 in Carrollton, Missouri the daughter of August and Emma Rowold Ackermann. After graduating from Carrollton High School, she worked for Southwestern Bell in Carrollton and Chillicothe Missouri. Eleanor married Bill Valbracht in 1950 and they moved to Brookfield, Missouri in 1953. From 1971 to 1991 Eleanor worked as the artist at Stanbury Uniforms.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter William (Bill) Valbracht Jr. and siblings, Eldon Ackerman, Wayne Ackermann, and Mildred Ackermann McFall.
Eleanor is survived by her sister, children and grandchildren: Evelyn Ackermann Wiechert of Albuquerque, NM; Bill (Jan) Valbracht of Columbia, MO; Betsy Valbracht (Ron) DenAdel of Glen Ellyn, IL; Kathy Valbracht of Camdenton, MO; Bob (Terri) Valbracht of Springfield, MO; and grandchildren David Valbracht of San Antonio, TX; Dr. Lauren Valbracht of Columbia, MO; Dan (Amanda) Valbracht of Austin, TX; Drew Valbracht of Jacksonville, FL; Nathan Valbracht of Springfield, MO; and Jamie Valbracht of Springfield, MO.
Per her wishes, there will be no services.
