Eula Mae (Belcher) Cooper

Eula Mae Cooper, age 92, of West Plains, formerly of Laclede, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at NHC Healthcare in West Plains.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Laclede Cemetery in Laclede with Pastor Joe Cuminale officiating.

Eula Mae, daughter of Henry  Oliver and Golda Marie (Flathers) Belcher, was born September 8, 1929, in Browning.  On October 17, 1946, she married Lawrence Lee Cooper who preceded her in death on January 9, 2004. 

Eula Mae attended the United Methodist Church in Laclede. 

She worked for many years at Stanbury Uniforms in Brookfield.

Survivors include three children, Janie Mae Patten of Ramsey, Minnesota, Patsy Lee Cross of West Plains, and Darold Lawrence Cooper of Rancho Cordova, California; 14 grandchildren, Fairlin Patten, Terri Patten Sparks, Jennifer Patten, Dion Cross, Faye Cross, Nikalas Cross, Tychandon Cross, Holly Haley, Michael Cross, Sammy Cross, Mariah McKinney, Blaine Bartlett, Brandon King, and Tiffany Guerra; great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence Cooper; and two brothers, Joe Belcher of Laclede and Charles Frances Belcher of Independence.
