Evelyn D. Moner, age 92, of Brookfield, died Friday, December 25, 2020 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family.
There will be private graveside services.

Evelyn D., daughter of Greenfield “Pete” and Ruth (Belshe) Cooper, was born April 30, 1928, in Meadville, MO. On November 1, 1947, she married Michael (Nick) Moner. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1988.
She spent many years working at Stanbury Uniforms and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Brookfield.
Evelyn had many talents, whether it be painting with her daughter, Darlene, sitting on her patio sketching flowers, gardening, or visiting with her sisters and family.
She traveled extensively as a military wife with her husband, Nick until they finally settled in Meadville to finish raising their family. After their children were grown, Evelyn moved to Brookfield to be closer to her daughter, Darlene and would remain there for her final days. She will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her five children; Phyllis Ann High (Harvey) of Meadville, Dixie Darlene Scott (Rick) of Brookfield, Lillian R. Mack (Terry) of Kirksville, Carol J. Moner (Karen) of Leavenworth, KS, and Michael Franklin Moner of Kansas City, MO; nine grandchildren, Justin High, Jamie High, Jenny High, Cybil Jackson-Leslie, Brandon L. Mack, Brian K. Mack, Michael Franklin Moner, Jr., Rebecca Marie Moner, and Angelia Nicole Moner; 19 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dixie Singleton of Moberly and Lucille Bowyer of Meadville; one brother-in-law Glenn Johnson of Brookfield; and her special feline fantastic, Cameron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Ruth Cooper; husband, Nick Moner; three sisters, Martha (Cooper) Johnson, Helen (Cooper) Atwood, and Louise (Cooper) Muck; one brother, William Franklin Cooper; one grandson, Theodore Michael Jackson; one great granddaughter, Korah S. Mack; six brothers-in-law; and her special friend of 15 years, George Mistler.
