Fannie (Gingerich) Hostetler

Fannie (Gingerich) Hostetler, age 87, of Brookfield MO. On June 27, 2021 she passed from this life to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on September 7,1933, and married Ervin Hostetler on March 26,1957, and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage together. She had a very compassionate heart for children and over the years they fostered many children. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers. She had a passion for singing and enjoyed visiting with her family friends. She was a faithful member of the Locust Creek Mennonite Church until her death. She was preceded in death by one son Laban Edward, June 1, 1987, parents Jonas and Emma (Troyer) Gingerich, brothers and sisters-in-law Ora (Verna), Noah (Fannie), Andrew (Judith), and sister Lovina; and sisters-in-law Anna B. and Anna R. Surviving are her children, Calvin Ellis, Titus Ervin (Linda) of Brookfield MO, Miriam Erma (Perry) Knepp of Linn MO, Ruth Emma Hostetler of Lamar MO. And 12 grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 sisters Verna (Abe) Troyer, Minerva Gingerich, Ida (Cornelius) Friesen; and 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan (Etta Fern) Gingerich and Lester (Sarah) Gingerich; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held Sunday July 4 from 2-4 and 6-8, and funeral Monday July 5 at 10:00 am at Locust Creek Mennonite Church, Linneus MO. Burial Immediately following at the Locust Creek Mennonite Cemetery.
