Frankie loved God, family, church family and his country.
Frankie worked a number of various jobs throughout his time here and spoke mainly of a few: A Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S Army, a cook at the Blackjack restaurant, truck driver and
foreman at Enviro Clean where he removed underground fuel tanks. His final occupation, which was his passion, a founding member and 21-year Pastor at God’s Garden Church.
Even in Frankie’s early years, before he was a Pastor, he was never far from God’s work. Whether it be sharing God’s word while driving a truck or leading people to Christ in some truck stop parking lot throughout the country, which earned him the CB handle “Lil John”. It was at the Assembly of God, under the watchful eye of Pastor Perry Martin, that Frankie really made the move to grow into the start of what God had prepared for him. At the Assembly he took on with dedication roles in the Royal Rangers and Bus ministry. Always believing what you do, do it unto God.
After learning what he could from the Assembly, God moved him into the next stages of his new life, another church, and a passion for Bible Studies. This started in the living rooms of close friends that quickly grew into a church. God saw that Frankie needed something to seal the deal and allow his heart to be full.
Later in life a trip to the Philippines and a 2 1/2 years of writing, On March 24th, 2002 our Pastor became the husband to Merlyn Ayog Bolin.
As a Pastor, Frankie reached hundreds if not thousands of people through the Jail Ministry, Prison Ministry, Recovery Programs, founding of Change by Choice, and founding of God's Garden Rider Ministry.
Frankie’s love for people could only be explained by his deep love of God and the desire to do God’s will. It would take an ocean of ink to write down the stories from people that Frankie has impacted over the years, both good and bad, but in the end, Frankie stuck to one simple thought and it made him the man of God he was. No matter what, stay right with GOD and his simple prayers, whatever it takes!
