Goldie Mae, daughter of Woodrow Alvin and Lulu Mae (Hollon) Spencer, was born October 29, 1943, in Browning. On April 9, 1960, she married Loren Maurice Bloss who preceded her in death on July 9, 2018.
Goldie worked 34 years in forecolor at Walsworth Publishing Company in Brookfield until her retirement and was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Brookfield.
Goldie was a very proud grandma and loved spending all the time she could with her family.
She was particularly proud that she had family serving on the police force, which led to her love of watching Real Police and Cops. Goldie also really enjoyed watching the Blue Angels and military fighter jets fly, and just being outdoors.
Survivors include three children, Larry Bloss of Texas, Cynthia Head of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Woody Bloss and Christine Willis of Laclede; five grandchildren, Steven Head, Jeremy “Ryan” Head, Kristen Hall, Spencer Bloss, and Lauren Bloss; two great grandchildren, Hudson Hall and Easton Hall; her two furry companions, Rusty and Ebony; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, JoAnn Haley and Joyce Lewis; and one brother, Larry Spencer.
