Jamie A. Scott

Jamie A. Scott, 46, of Fort Madison, IA passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 9:20 PM at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.
She was born on August 24, 1974 in Danville, KY to James and Betty Braymer Brown. On July 5, 1996 she married Don Scott in Ft. Madison. Jamie was a graduate of Central Lee High School. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and playing with her dog. Her greatest love was her family, especially her son, Dakota.
Survivors include her husband, Don Scott of Ft. Madison; one son, Dakota Brown of Ft. Madison; her mom and step dad, Betty (Randy) Brown of New Boston, MO; one sister, Misty Bowen of Donnellson; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James Brown; mother in law, Kathryn Scott; grandparents, Rachel and Richard Hughes, Wilbur Braymer, Donna Mae Link and Katherine Dehaven.
Friends may call after 2 PM on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory where the family will meet with friends from 4-6 PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 2 PM at Laclede Cemetery in Laclede, Missouri with Pastor Jim Fitzgerald officiating. Services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.
