Kathy L. Livingston

Kathy Livingston, age 66, of Brookfield, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, surrounded by her family at University Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Minister Randy Orr officiating.  Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Brookfield.  The family will receive friends, Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Kathleen Louise, daughter of James Gale and Betty Louise (Gaus) Livingston, was born October 17, 1956, in Quincy, Illinois.

Kathy worked as a Customer Service Representative at Walsworth Publishing in Brookfield for 31 years and attended Park Baptist Church in Brookfield.

Kathy loved her family and enjoyed sharing stories about them.  She always enjoyed their family trips to Branson, bowling, shopping, and working with her plants and flowers.  She was great at connecting with people and was a very hard worker.  She was a huge Alan Jackson and Kansas City Chiefs fan, and always made time for a Miller Lite and being with her friends and family.

Survivors include her significant other, Jim Orr of the home; four children, Kelly Tipton of Brookfield, Jimmy Dorrell and wife, Katy of Macon, Kristin Radel and husband, Chris of Medford, Minnesota, and Lindsey Jones and significant other, Jeremy TeBeest of Columbia; three step children, Jamie Orr and wife, Julie of Kidder, Johna Asher of Hamilton, and Jim Orr and wife, Jamie of Warsaw; three siblings, Tony Livingston and wife, Laura of Brookfield; Debbie Livingston of Brookfield, and Lori Livingston and significant other, Russell Alexander of Canehill, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Kenny Tipton; and a niece, Brooke Livingston.
