During her career, Linda worked at BRK Electronics, Anixter Wiring, Light Jewelers and finished her working years with East Aurora School District.
Linda loved animals especially her cats and dogs, she enjoyed knitting, dragonflies, working with stained glass and loved flowers. One of her greatest joys was making jewelry and competing for recognition of her designs at local fairs.
Linda truly enjoyed the country lifestyle in Everton. She was continually entertained by the antics of the calves she could see in the neighboring fields. She often spoke of how fun they were to watch. Also, while living in Everton, she finally got a lap dog and named her Ruby. Ruby was a true companion and would always brighten her day.
She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and was quick to give big hugs. Linda always had a smile for the younger generation and will truly be missed.
Survivors include her partner, Robert Bennett; her brothers, Dale Lisby (Kathy) of Kaysville, Utah, Jerry Lisby (Debbie) of Wheeling, Missouri, John Lisby (Laura) of Wheeling, Missouri, Jim Lisby (Mag Bussey) of Auroa, Illinois; sister-in-law, Brenda Bower of Chillicothe, Missouri; her partners mother, Willa Bennett; and several other nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
