Linda Ross-Stafford, age 71, of Brookfield, died Sunday, February 9, 2020, at University Hospital in Columbia.
A visitation will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield. Linda’s wishes were to be cremated following her visitation. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Brookfield at a later date.

Linda Eileen, daughter of Art McKinney and Irene Goosey, was born July 15, 1948, in Pueblo, Colorado.
Linda was a 1967 graduate of Brookfield R-3 High School. She worked for Whitaker Cable in Brookfield and later retired from Stanbury Uniform in Brookfield after 19 years of service.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing and caring for animals. Linda loved her family and found great happiness in having her three sons together.
Survivors include her three sons, Edwin Lee Ross and Cathy Snyder of Brookfield, Douglas Michael Ross and Larry Barker of Kansas City and Randall Wayne Ross of Chillicothe; former husband, Donald Ross of Brookfield; five grandchildren, Jonathan Ross and Sylvia Moshier both of Kansas City and Tara Ross, Ethan Ross and Claire Ross all of Chillicothe; one great-grandson, Legend Ross of Chillicothe; two sisters, Paula Holtel and husband, Jerry of Brookfield and Brenda Vaughn and husband, Dick of Macon; and one niece, several nephews and aunts and uncles.
Her parents, Irene Stark and Art McKinney; one brother, Tommy McKinney; and her beloved cat Jasmine preceded her in death.
