Mary Sue “Susie” Jackson, age 56, of Purdin, passed away, Friday, August 27, 2021, at her home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Rex Leppin officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Linneus. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mary Sue, daughter of Douglas and Karen (Graham) Jackson, was born October 31, 1964, in Brookfield.
Susie grew up in Linneus and attended Linneus Elementary School. She later moved with her sister, Tammy to Kansas and Florida. After many years in Florida, they returned to Linn County.
Susie loved her family. She was especially proud of her niece and nephew and great-niece and great-nephew. She was always happy and joking around and found a friend in everyone. Susie was a very spiritual person and loved a beautiful sunset. She had a heart of gold and was a very special person.
Survivors include her parents, Karen Street and husband, Ed of Linneus and Doug Jackson and wife, Bertha of Marceline; one sister, Tammy Barrows and husband, Robert of Linneus; one niece, Tara Beaver and husband, Ryan of St. Petersburg, Florida; one nephew, Trent Bertsche of Linneus; one great-niece, Amelia Beaver of St. Petersburg, Florida; one great-nephew, Trenton Bertsche of Linneus; one aunt, Lila Murphy and husband, David of Linneus; two very special dogs, Baby and Gurlie; and many cousins.
Her grandparents, Glenn and Etta Fay Graham and Cecil Jackson and Elladean Riggens; two uncles, Richard Graham and Gary Graham; and her dog, Victor preceded her in death.
