Michelle (Walsh) Hunter

Michelle Hunter, age 54, of Brookfield, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at her home in Brookfield.

A private graveside will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Michelle Lynn, daughter of Robert E. and Linda Ellen (Ward) Walsh, was born June 28, 1969, in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Gary Wayne Hunter who preceded her in death on February 5, 2014.

Michelle was a member of the Brookfield Eagles Auxiliary # 2463. She enjoyed spending her time outdoors in nature, she had a love for animals and most of all spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her two children, Shelby Burns of Kansas City and Gabe Burns of Columbia; her mother, Linda Walsh of Kearney; one brother Wes Walsh, and Fiancé, Susan Hudson; three nephews, Cade, Kyle and Connor Walsh, of Florida; one special friend, Greg Finney also known as “Doc” and several other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Walsh; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Marjorie Ward; and paternal grandparents, Gene and Helen Walsh.
