Mildred Lambert

Mildred Lambert, age 90, of Brookfield, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Life Care Nursing Center in Brookfield.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Kevin Holloway officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield.  The family will receive friends Sunday evening, March 17, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mildred, the daughter of Benjamin Andrew and Berniece Marie Keller, was born October 11, 1933, in Rothville, Missouri. On February 19, 1952, she married Paul Lambert. Together they were married for 72 years.

Mildred enjoyed flower gardens, embroidery, cooking and traveling with her husband Paul. She loved spending time with her family and going to watch her grandchildren’s school programs.  

Survivors include her husband, Paul Lambert; three children, Stephen Lambert and wife, Diane, Lea Ann Bennett and  fiancé, Don Birkenmeyer and Alan Lambert; six grandchildren, Matthew Lambert and wife, Kate, Luke Lambert and wife, Brooke, Ashley Bennett-Phillips and husband, Caleb, Nathan Bennett and wife, Megan, Ronnie Lambert and wife, Cassie, and Rian Large and husband, Matrix; twelve greatgrandchildren, Coy and Cree Phillips, Mace and Meyer Lambert, Izabelle, Zemmi, Zaylee, and Inzley Bennett, Maizlee Large, and Beau, Knox, and Ella Lambert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard and Elmo Keller; two sisters, Phyllis Dillon and Jean Green; two sisters in law, Mary and Beverly Keller; two brothers in law, Gene Dillon and John Green; and one son in law Tony Bennett.
