Mildred (Sattman) Lynch

Mildred Irene Lynch, age 93, of Brookfield, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Jim Fitzgerald officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Boston Cemetery, New Boston.

Mildred Irene, daughter of Andrew Lawrence and Dora Ethel (Watson) Sattman, was born March 24, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan. On July 24, 1948, she married Warren “Bucky” Lynch. Together they were married for 74 years.

Mildred was a member of the New Boston Christian Church. She worked for Mobil Oil as a business coordinator for thirty plus years. Mildred enjoyed traveling with her husband, going to every state in the country except for Alaska and Hawaii. She loved spending time with her “girls”, studying genealogy, enjoyed ice cream of every flavor, going to blue grass concerts with her husband, visiting the casino, and most of all she enjoyed the small things in life.

Survivors include her husband of the home; two nephews, Michael Crist and David Crist; four great nieces, and cousins.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and one sister-in-law Maysel Crist.
