Pam Biggs

Pam Biggs, age 64, of Purdin, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at her home with family by her side. 

Services will be Monday, March 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Chaplin Karen Shearer officiating. Burial will be at Purdin Cemetery in Purdin. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening at the funeral home.

Pamela Sue, daughter of George and Betty (Haley) Street, was born October 5, 1956 in Milan. On May 21, 1977, she married Stephen M. Biggs. 

Pam was an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper at Linn County R-1 School in Purdin from 1989 until the present… She was involved in several Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper Organizations, as well as their monthly “Bible Study'' social group. She was a very active community member and helped with the Purdin Fall Festival for many years. She loved helping her husband Steve on the family farm. Pam was extremely passionate about and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sports and other activities. She was very involved and an avid supporter of all school activities at Linn County R-1. Pam also spent many weekends clerking alongside her dad, for the “George Street Auctioneer Services.” 

Survivors include: her husband, Stephen of the home; a daughter, Brandi Biggs and Todd of Purdin; a son, Caleb Biggs of Purdin; two grandchildren, Maggi and Madden Biggs of Purdin; and a brother, Ed Street and wife, Karen of Linneus. 

She was preceeded in death by her parents; her grandson, Peyton Phillips; father-in-law, Wesley Biggs; grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
