Pearl Walgren, age 84, of Brookfield, passed away, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor John Wiggans officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Lorna Pearl, daughter of Devoine “Tom” and Mary “Thelma” (Pyle) Lacer, was born September 26, 1939, in Brookfield. On June 19, 1960, she married Richard Delane Walgren.
Pearl was a homemaker and in recent years worked at Life Care Center and Stanbury Uniform both of Brookfield.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Brookfield and enjoyed daily devotion.
Pearl also enjoyed her trips to the Missouri State Fair and camping with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Walgren of the home; one daughter, Cheryl Cooper of Brookfield; one son, Roger Walgren and wife, Lisa of Frisco, Texas; four grandchildren, Kristen Cooper of Macon, and Justin Walgren, Riley Walgren and Trevor “TJ” Walgren of Frisco, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Elena Walgren of Frisco, Texas; two sisters, Fern Duncan and husband, Glenn “Buddy” of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Mary Waddill of Chillicothe; three nieces, Shelly Milford of Marceline, Kim Duncan of Marshall and Sheri Schalk and husband, John of St. Louis; one nephew, Matt Waddill of Chillicothe; and several other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law, Earl Waddill.
