Peyton Allen Phillips, age 15, of Purdin, died Thursday, February 27, 2020 near Purdin.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 2, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Scott White officiating. Burial will be in Purdin Cemetery in Purdin. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Peyton Allen, son of Jason Phillips and Brandi Biggs, was born June 25, 2004 in North Kansas City.
Peyton was a sophomore at Linn Co. R-I High School near Purdin. He was active in basketball, baseball, track and FFA and was in the A+ Program. He was a member of the Kingsmen Baseball Academy.
His interests and hobbies included baseball, basketball, hunting, fishing, riding 4 wheelers, working on the farm, hanging out with his friends and helping teach and coach younger athletes.
Survivors include his mother, Brandi and Todd of Purdin; his father, Jason and brother, Jaxon Phillips both of Salisbury; his step-father, Sambo Davis of Linneus; his grandparents, Steve and Pam Biggs of Purdin and David and Theresa Pegelow of Salisbury; great-grandma, Shirley Biggs of Marceline; an uncle, Caleb Biggs and children, Madden and Maggi of Purdin; an aunt, Samantha Kinder and Scott of Moberly; and several other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, George and Betty Street and Wesley Biggs; and numerous great aunts and uncles.
