Robert “Bob” Andrew Roe, age 81, of Brookfield passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023, at his home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Brookfield with Reverend Lee Porch and Reverend Mike White officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Robert Andrew, son of Ralph Elmo and Anna Jeane (Schreiner) Roe was born September 12, 1941, in Redding, Iowa. On June 17th, 1966, he married Mary Ann Johnston and she survives at the home.
Bob worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 25 years before retiring. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Linn County 4-H, a 50-year member of the Brookfield Elks Lodge BPOE #874, and a 25-year member of the Brookfield Eagles #2463. Bob was a longtime volunteer for Pershing Memorial Hospital Auxiliary serving over 12,000 hours and a devoted hospice volunteer.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Roe; one son, Jeff Roe and wife, Missy; one daughter, Jennifer Mack and husband, Jonathan; seven grandchildren, Remi, Reagan, Rocky, Ransom, Sterling, Xander, and Lincoln; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Russell and Betsy Alexander; one brother, Franklin Roe; sisters-in-law, Judy Keefe, Sue Trexler and husband, Ray, Sandra Roe, and Cheryl Capp; and brothers-in-law, David Johnston and Fred Capp.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Roe; mother-in-law, Doris Capp and Fred Capp; brothers-in-law, Bruce Russell, Mike Noel, Steve Alexander and Bill Capp; and sister-in-law, Linda Richardson.
