Tammy Baker, age 59, of Brookfield, died Thursday, March 11, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.
Services will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Park Baptist Church in Brookfield with Pastor David Blakely officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Tammy Elaine, daughter of Hiram Laverne and JoAnn (Farris) Yates, was born February 7, 1962 in Marceline. On March 8, 1985, she married Floyd Leland Bartlett who preceded her in death on August 24, 1998. On April 27, 2001, she married Jeffrey “Jeff” Eldon Baker.
Tammy was a 1980 graduate of the Marceline High School. She owned and operated a children’s daycare for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Park Baptist Church, she was baptized and joined the church October 23, 1994. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff of the home; six children, Blaine Bartlett of Laclede, Tyson Bartlett of Laclede, Ryan Bartlett and wife, Melissa of Brookfield, Daniel “Danny” Bartlett and wife, Alex of Brookfield, Allison Baker of Wichita, Kansas, and Zachary Bartlett of Brookfield; five grandchildren, Mason Lee Bartlett, Ashley Koster, Coraline Tyler Bartlett, Hiram Joseph Bartlett and Jack Hudson Bartlett; one brother, Robby W. Garr and wife, Natisha of Brookfield; nieces and nephews of Brookfield; and step-father, Robert “Bob” Garr of Brookfield.
Her parents; two brothers, Kevin Wayne Yates and Larry Jo Yates; one sister, Deborah Sue Yates; grandparents, Hiram Lorenzo and Genevie Yates, Clarence and Beulah Farris, and Elson and Ruth Garr also preceded her in death.
