Rob Techau, age 45 of Rockton, Illinois, died Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Brookfield with Pastor Tom Sullenger officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Garden Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 24, 2018, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Robert Daniel Techau, son of Bob and Brenda (Falconer) Techau, was born August 23, 1973 in Brookfield, Missouri. On October 30, 1999, he married the love of his life, Kelly Lynn Calpus.
Rob graduated from Bucklin High School in 1991. Then moved to Illinois to be with his future wife in 1996. He worked at Lifetouch Publishing, which is now called Lifetouch Services, for 22 years. He held various positions, most recent was Distribution Supervisor.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly and their sons, Cooper and Carson of Rockton, Illinois; his mother, Brenda Techau of Brookfield, Missouri; his one brother, Bryan Techau and nephew, Max Techau of Burlington, Vermont; his grandfather, Max Falconer of Purdin, Missouri; other close family members, Bill and Pam Calpus of Canadaigua, New York, Adam and Shannon Rader and their children, Abram, Whitney, and Natalie of Normal, Illinois, and Jordan Calpus of Lafayette, Colorado; and many other loved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rob was preceded in death by his father, Bob Techau; grandparents, Wilbur and Vodra Techau and grandmother, Mary Falconer.
