Dennis Elliott, age 64, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at his home in Brookfield.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor David Blakely officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Brookfield. Masonic services will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. followed by visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the evening at the funeral home.

Dennis Delane, son of Harold and Nina (Taylor) Elliott, was born September 25, 1957, in Marceline. On December 30, 1983, he married Sherri Bogener of Palmyra.
Dennis was a 1976 graduate of Brookfield High School. He then attended Gem City College in Quincy, Illinois and began his career at Elliott Jewelry and Music in Brookfield.
Dennis was baptized as a child at Park Baptist Church in Brookfield. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge #86, the Schriner’s Club, the Brookfield Elks Lodge, and the Brookfield Country Club where he enjoyed golfing with friends. Dennis had a passion for nice cars, classic rock, spending time with his grandchildren, and loved to have a good time.
Survivors include his wife Sherri Elliott of the home; one son, Drew Elliott and wife Cassie and their children, Braxton and Aspen of Brookfield; two sisters, Linda Laffey and husband Don of Kearney, Desiree Sappington and husband Carter of Brookfield; one brother, Shawn Elliott and Rhonda of Linn; brother-in-law, Terry Bogener and wife, Carolyn of Estes Park, Colorado; sister-in-law, Jerri Johnston and husband, Wayne of Palmyra; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Nina Elliott; grandparents, Orville and Olga Elliott, and George and Nina Taylor; and in-laws, William and Winona Bogener.
