Karen Chrisman, age 77, of Brookfield, died Thursday, August 27, 2020, at her home.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Brookfield with Fr. Kelechi Uzuegbu officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Brookfield. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Karen Ann, daughter of Edward and Frieda (Lustfield) Weimer, was born August 4, 1943 in Wein. On November 25, 1961, she married Charles Chrisman who preceded her in death on January 4, 2003.
Karen worked for United Missouri Bank in Kansas City and in Brookfield for over 40 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Brookfield.
Survivors include three children, Charlessa Grime and husband, Ed of Brookfield, Eric Chrisman and wife, Stephanie of Cairo, and Scott Chrisman and wife, Robin of Brookfield; seven grandchildren, Caleb Wilson and wife, Megan of Somerset, Kentucky, Ceirney Wilson of Brookfield, Rheanne Chrisman, Shaylee Chrisman and Bryce Chrisman all of Cairo, Zane Chrisman of Centralia and Zoey Chrisman of Brookfield; two great-grandchildren, Brooks and Beau Wilson of Somerset, Kentucky; ten brothers and sisters, Mary Ginter, Jim Weimer and wife, Dianna, Bill Weimer and wife, Karen Jo, Ron Weimer and wife, Amy, Kathy Lathrop, Margie Boeger, John Weimer, Jerry Weimer and wife, Sharon, Becky Middlebrooks and husband, Rusty, and Randy Weimer and wife, Ann; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Her parents; one brother, Ricky Weimer; one infant granddaughter, Marie Chrisman; two brothers-in-law, Leroy Ginter and Lenny Lathrop; and one sister-in-law, Darlene Olinger also preceded her in death.
