Madonna Tiemeyer, age 84, of Meadville, passed away Saturday April 6, 2024, at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center in Marceline surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be Monday, April 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Rex Leppin officiating. Burial will be in Wheeling Cemetery in Wheeling. The family will receive friends Sunday April 14, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Madonna Mae, daughter of Clarence William and Imogene Eleanor (Sturm) Buttman, was born January 3, 1940, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. On August 20, 1965, she married Alvin Lee Tiemeyer who preceded her in death on March 17, 2020. Together they were married for 54 years.
Madonna was a graduate of Meadville High School. She was a farm wife and enjoyed helping Alvin on the family farm.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. At Christmas time her family would look forward to her Christmas candy.
Survivors include her children, Peggy Simmons and husband, Max of Jamesport, Connie Buswell and husband, Jeffery of Linneus, and Max Tiemeyer and wife, Tonja of Meadville; eleven grandchildren; Lilly Scott, Daniel Simmons and wife, Melissa, Rachel Cook and husband, Jake, Lee Simmons and wife, Clarissa, Trent Buswell, Katie Buswell, Cody Buswell, Alivia Tiemeyer, Eli Tiemeyer, Levi Tiemeyer and Jaxon Tiemeyer; and eight greatgrandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one son in law, Allen Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Bonnie Tiemeyer and Patsy Scott; great-granddaughter, Ellie Mae Moore and one brother, Donald Buttman.
