Mark Bernard

Mark Bernard, 59, formerly of Lathrop, and currently of, Brookfield, passed away, Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Mark Edward, son of William Bernard and Devola Barnett, was born November 5, 1963, in San Diego, California.

Mark worked for the union as a Millwright for thirty plus years.

He enjoyed volunteering at the food bank almost every day, spending time with family and friends and most of all had a great passion for helping anyone in need. Mark was the type of person who would put other’s needs above his own.

Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Bernard of Denver, Colorado, one stepdaughter, Heather Harris of Kansas City; three grandchildren, McKenzie, Madison and Miley all of Kansas City; one brother, Joseph Bernard of Lathrop; his significant other Maggie Pinaire; her children, Zephyr and Rory Cameron; several other extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith Bernard and Devola Barnett.
