Omer Kroush, age 84, of Brookfield, died Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Mike Christian officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Hamilton at 1:00 p.m. Military honors will be rendered by Hamilton American Legion Post #285.

Omer Grant, son of Franklin G. and Jessie Irene (Gwinn) Kroush, was born April 22, 1937, in Weston. On October 30, 1958, he married Betty Jean Pate.
Omer retired as a mechanic from Stanbury Uniform in Brookfield. He was a member of Brookfield Assembly of God Church and enjoyed spending his time watching old western movies.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean of the home; five children, Rebecca Ann Combs of Brookfield, Omer Grant Kroush, Jr. and wife, Beverly of Hamilton, John Lee Kroush of Jacksonville, Florida, Donald Allen Kroush of Brookfield, and Christopher James Kroush and wife, Dianna of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua, Michelle, Cody, Macayla, Sierra, Lacey, Lukas, Zander, Kyla, Eric, Stacey, and KB; and 17 great-grandchildren.
His parents; two brothers, Franklin Kroush and Donald Kroush; and one sister, Peggy Fanning preceded him in death.
