Tabitha Leigh (Bloss) Jennings Obituary

Tabitha Leigh (Bloss) Jennings, 46, of Brookfield, Missouri, went to Heaven to be with her Lord Jesus on November 23, 2018, the day after Thanksgiving and her grandmother Betty’s 92nd birthday. After a valiant battle with a serious illness, while waiting for an organ transplant, her unwavering faith in God never waned. Tabitha never gave up hope that she would be healed, if not here, then in her Heavenly home.

Tabitha was born on June 23, 1972, to Gerald and Linda Bloss, Brookfield. She is survived by her parents; her brother, Daniel Ross, Brookfield; her two daughters, Danielle Leigh Putnum, Holden, Missouri, and Katelyn Mae Vroom, Brookfield; her grandchildren Sylis, Robert, Zachary, and Elijah; her grandparents Jake and Betty Ross; her aunt, Brenda Thompson, Brookfield; and several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Jane Vroom and grandparents Elmer and Eunice Bloss.

Tabitha was beautiful inside and out. She loved purses, jewelry, and crafts. One of her favorite things to do was going to thrift stores and finding great bargains. If you complimented something she had, she would say, “I want YOU to have it!” Her generosity was unparalleled. She decorated her home for every holiday and was looking so forward to the shimmering lights of Christmas this year.

After many years of such heartache and pain, Tabi is now healed and rejoicing with Jesus. Her tears were wiped away, her chains are gone from this life, and she has been set free through God’s amazing grace and magnificent love.

There will be a small graveside service for immediate family. Memorial contributions for Tabitha’s daughter Katelyn and her children may be taken or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628. Flowers, cards, and condolences may be sent to 601 Wentz, Brookfield.
